TERMS AND WAIVER
Baldino's Lock & Key Service, Inc. - Lockout Protection Program
1. Customers who have registered with Baldino's Lock & Key Service, Inc. ("Baldino's") in the Lockout Protection Program, may call Baldino's toll free line, 1-888-888-1029, for assistance in unlocking a locked vehicle. When calling, the Customer needs to provide name, vehicle description, the location of the vehicle and other related pertinent information as requested by Baldino's at the time.
2. SERVICE AREA: Lockouts are currently serviced within the following areas: The Virginia cities and counties of Stafford, Fairfax, Prince William, Loudoun, Alexandria, Arlington, and the Maryland cities and counties of Montgomery, Baltimore, Annapolis, Ann Arundel, Howard, Prince George's, and Washington DC including all towns and other political subdivisions within. Updates of a broader service area will be advised without additional charge.
3. COOPERATION: The Customer agrees to cooperate with Baldino's, its Technicians and Service Desk. The Customer has been advised that to obtain free service, the Customer must:
- A. Provide valid owner identification such as a driver's license to protect against unauthorized entry into a Customer's vehicle;
- B. Must have the Baldino's issued Vehicle Sticker displayed on the inside of driver's side window of the vehicle; (or regular service charges will apply);
- C. Or the Baldino's Lockout Program Key Ring Identification Tag must be found inside the locked vehicle once opened, (or regular service charges will apply);
- D. Once the vehicle is open the vehicle registration must be verified to
assure that there is authority over the vehicle.
Baldino's may contact the Police or request Police assistance in any situation where inadequate verification is provided or if Baldino's personnel otherwise believe Police assistance will be beneficial.
4. UNCONTROLLABLE CONDITIONS:
- A. Service may be delayed or suspended due to circumstances beyond the control of Baldino's (e.g. weather, traffic, heavy call load, etc.). Baldino's shall not be responsible for delays in response or failure to respond in such circumstances.
- B. The Baldino's Technician or Service Desk will try to advise the customer of any known delays due to weather and traffic. If the customer is advised that no service can be provided, see Section 5 below.
- C. Time of service response time may vary due to pre-existing service load. Please be patient. Baldino's Service Desk or Technician will advise of an estimated time of arrival.
5. LIMITED WARRANTY:
The liability of Baldino's for any failure or inability to respond within two (2) hours of a call for Service within the Service Area is limited to $55.00 dollars. No other warranty of any kind, express or implied is hereby made or to be presumed, nor shall Baldino's be liable for any consequential or other damages of any kind. Baldino's will issue a "Credit Number" by phone when Baldino's advises that it cannot respond to a service call within two (2) hours from the first call. The Credit Number must be written on a request for reimbursement, including the customer's name and address, to be sent to Baldino's with a copy of the receipt from the alternative lockout provider. Requests and receipts should be sent to: Baldino's Lock & Key Service, Inc., PO Box 1417 Newington VA. 22122. Please include responding address. Upon verification a reimbursement check will be sent.
6. Customers are welcome to additional window identification stickers for each owned vehicle and a Baldino's Lockout Program Key Ring Identification Tag for each authorized family member or business employee.
7. Customers are limited to two (2) Free lockouts per year per enrolled vehicle. Normal charges with a Ten (10%) percent discount will apply for more than two service calls.
8. Baldino's has the right to terminate the program after seven (7) days notification to the customer.
8A. Termination: Baldino's Lockout Program may be ended any time after seven days best effort notification to registrants. Proper Notification shall be via mail to registrant's address listed on registration form or E-mail address provided on registration. An update for address changes may be requested periodically from Baldino's, but it is the responsibility of participant to notify Baldino's if mailing address changes.
9. Participants authorize Baldino's to send correspondence by mail or e-mail to request address updates, vehicle changes and additions, to add new participants and to advise of customer specials, discounts and new products from Baldino's Lock & Key.
9A. Communications: Mailers may be sent to you periodically to update our records for any changes in vehicle ownership and to serve your needs for any new window stickers or key tags. Information on security tips, specials, new products and discount coupons may be included. It is the responsibility of all participants to register at www.baldinos.com/free-lockout-program for automatic email updates or visit www.baldinos.com or phone 703-550-0770 periodically to be aware and accept the any updates, information and changes in the free lockout program.
Activation:
By applying the Baldino's Lock & Key, sticker on your car's driver's side window or we find the special Baldino's lockout keytag on your key ring locked inside the car, that the rules of this warranty are understood and you have acknowledged the above restrictions.
